Week 3: Mix Juice

This week, my partner and I made mix juice . We decided to make it with our own recipe.
Ingredients:
Melon
Carrot
Apple
Orange
Banana
Blueberry Jam
Sugar
Kiwi fruit
Method: mix up the ingredients for 30s using mixer. Then cool it in the refrigerator.
It was extremely easy to make it because the only thing we needed to do is mixing ingredients. The juice was fresh and sweet.

Next week, we're making ice cream!

Week 2: Spaghetti Bolongnese

This week, my partner and I have cooked spaghetti Bolognese . We found the recipe from http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/1502640/the-best-spaghetti-bolognese?IGNORE_GEO_REDIRECT_ONCE=true. As we both knew how to boil spaghetti and make Bolognese source, it proceeded smoothly all the way through.
Ingredients:
500g Fresh Beef Mince.
400g Dried Spaghetti.
4 Rashers of Smoked Streaky Bacon, finely diced.
2 Tins of Plum/Chopped Tomatoes.
6 Fresh Cherry Tomatoes.
2 Medium Onions, peeled and finely diced.
2 Sticks of Celery, trimmed and finely diced.
2 Carrots, trimmed and finely diced.
2 Cloves of Garlic, peeled and finely diced.
1 Medium Chilli (optional), seeded and finely sliced
75g Freshly grated Parmesan Cheese, plus extra for grating over.
2 tbsp Tomato Puree
1 Beef Stock Cube.
Glass of red wine (optional)
Herbs:
2-3 Sprigs of Fresh Rosemary.
Handful of Fresh Basil, plus extra for Garnish.
1 tsp Dried Oregano.
1-2 Fresh Bay Leaves.
Olive oil.
Sea Salt and Black Pepper.
Crusty bread, to serve.
Method: Visit the website above.
The spaghetti itself was very tasty, but the source was not as good as expected because we mistakably put sugar instead of salt. If we get a chance to cook it again, we would cook better.
Next week, we're making mix juice!

Week 1: Chicken Curry

This week, my partner and I have cooked chicken curry. We found the recipe from http://panlasangpinoy.com/2009/04/05/chicken-curry-pinoy-style/. Our first practicle was not as good as expected. But since it was our first time cooking it was not too bad.
Ingredients:
2 lbs. chicken, cut into serving pieces
1 big potato, chopped
1 tbsp garlic, minced
3 stalks celery, cut into 2 inches length
1 medium onion, chopped
1 small red bell pepper, cut into cubes
2 tbsp fish sauce
1 cup coconut milk
2 tbsp curry powder
1 thumb ginger, cut into strips
1 cup water
On our first attempt on cooking this meal, we burnt the chicken. But after another attempt we correctly cooked the meal, according to me parents, the meal was ok.
